Free Consultation and Onboarding Meeting
If you want to learn more about my services and how we can work together, I offer a free 30 minute consultation. I'm happy to answer any questions and look forward to getting to know you!
After the free consultation, if it seems like a good fit, I also offer a free 1 hour onboarding meeting to go over the project details before finalizing the proposal and contract.
How It Works
1. Free 30 Minute Consultation
We have a 30 minute virtual meeting so I can get an overview of your business and project goals. You can ask me any questions you have about my services, process, skills, etc. If it’s a good fit, we can move forward with onboarding.
2. Onboarding
I’ll send you a website questionnaire to fill out - this will go more in depth into your business/project goals, timeline, content, etc. I’ll then send you a proposal or multiple proposal options. Once we finalize your proposal, I’ll send you a contract and deposit invoice. At any point, we can schedule a free 1 hour onboarding meeting to discuss the details and answer any questions. Once the contract is signed, we can move onto collecting content for your website.
3. Content Collection
The content planning guide is a form that provides guidance on obtaining the necessary visual and written content for your website. You can provide your written content and upload photos directly on the form. Alternatively, you can send me any existing content, which could include business documents, a current website, etc. and I can provide assistance with the remaining content as I build the website.
4. Project Kick Off: Website Build
Once I receive your existing content, it’s time for me to build your website in Squarespace. Before we start, I’ll get your input for the layout and style (choose from a set of options). I may need to reach out to you for input while working on the written and visual content on your website. I value your feedback and include 1 round of minor revisions.
5. Project Handoff & Support
After your website is built, I’ll transfer it to you. We’ll meet and discuss SEO, domain name, updates, etc. I’m happy to provide a document with helpful links that provide more information about these topics. Finally, I’ll provide information on how to get in touch if you need extra support or want services in the future.
Payment Details
Split into 2 payments:

How long will my project take?
The estimated timeframe for the Essentials Package is 5-10 business days after collecting your existing content. Your site may take more time depending on a variety of factors including how much content is ready ahead of time, your availability for meetings and providing feedback, and if you request any additional pages or services as add-ons.
Why do you use templates and pre-designed styles for the Essentials Web Design Package?
Letting you choose from templates and predesigned (rather than customized) styles gives you options while dramatically speeding up the design process. If you don’t need a customized website yet, this is a fast and affordable way to get your business up and running.
What if I want the Essentials Web Design package, but need extra page(s) or feature(s)?
That’s fine! During your consultation or onboarding, we can discuss this and include this as an add-on to your Essentials Web Design Package. Feel free to check out the A La Carte Web Design services on the Premium & Customized Services Page. Please note that choosing a Premium Web Design Package may be more cost effective than purchasing extra pages in addition to the Essentials package. Plus with the Premium Package, you'll get extra customization, support, and resources.
